Although we studied in separate groups, Markiyan frequently borrowed Solomiia's notes. And not only due to her nice handwriting 😉
While working together on an educational project, we discovered that we can achieve great things together. It was during this experience that we first found ourselves staying up late, communicating via Skype into the wee hours of the morning, to ensure that we completed the project on time.
Markiyan was trying hard to leave a positive impression on all of the guests. Fortunately, the event was a great success, and he is now eager to take on a new role and repeat this experience 😅
We were incredibly fortunate to have a large, comfortable, and reliable station wagon that joined us on all of our adventures. Whether we were enduring long queues at the Polish border, going on a week-long tour in Europe, or navigating through treacherous, snow-covered Carpathian serpentines, our beloved Oktasya never let us down.
Even though we sometimes missed being students, after graduation we had way more time to do things we loved and grow our personalities.
Certainly, Markiyan had the advantage of running with his long, two-meter legs, but he chose to maintain Mia's pace and encouraged her to complete the race. While we may not have achieved exceptional results, we were able to complete our very first half marathon together.
The lockdown encouraged us to finally put our long-standing plan of visiting Bakota, Ukraine into action. This experience taught us that we could find genuine happiness in the simple pleasures of life.
That year, we finally had the opportunity to visit Dragobrat mountains. We were blessed with excellent weather and randomly got to witness a ratrak freeride tour. Although it may not have been our wisest decision, we still have no regrets about joining the freeride tour.
The war made us stronger and brought new goals and values into our lives. We have finally started our long-awaited joint business venture.
Markiyan made the decision to propose despite the circumstances because our eighth anniversary falls on a weekend at the end of May. And this is his favorite time of the year.
We intended to have a modest signing of documents without excessive ceremony, but the ladies from the Registry Office had other plans. That's how we became a married couple in the eyes of the state.
There is so much to say here, but we will simply say that it was the best day of our lives. These emotions will stay with us forever.
Thank you for the smiles, heartfelt wishes, gifts, and hugs.
Our family book collection is simply impressive.
We also thank all the people defending Ukraine, without them, this day would not have been possible. Therefore, all the presented funds will go towards supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine 💙💛
